Premier Inn Leicester North West

Great value for money and a good location. The room was spotless, quiet and really comfortable, with a comfy bed. Everything felt organised and professional, and the staff were friendly and helpful from check-in right through to check-out. Honestly couldn’t fault my stay at Northwest. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay again.

I stay here regularly, and it gets lovelier every time. The rooms are always very clean, and the location is perfect. The staff are welcoming, and Callum is my favourite by far. He always takes time for a chat when I arrive, pays attention to the little things, and asks about my family and work. Nothing is ever too much trouble. He makes being away from home easier.

I’m glad I only had to stay one night. I booked somewhere else for the rest of my stay. For some reason I was given an accessible room, with a very uncomfortable bed made from two singles zipped together and questionable stains on the mattress. It was dusty and needed a proper clean, and the bathroom had a strange smell. Being so close to reception didn’t help. People walked past noisily until all hours and seemed to gather right outside the window to smoke and chat through the night. Not relaxing at all.

The doors on the rooms closed slowly and quietly, which I really appreciated. The staff were nice and friendly, and the hotel does the basics okay. Finding the car park in the dark was a pain because the lighting and foot markings were poor. The rooms weren’t clean enough. They seemed to have had a quick once-over for a long time, but need a proper clean. We kept finding layers of dust, plus Maltesers on the floor that we couldn’t understand how the cleaner had missed. There were webs around the hallway windows too, looking like they’d been there since Leicester won the Premier League.
