Friendly staff and funky decor made a good impression, and the bed was comfortable with a warm duvet. The bathroom was clean too, and despite earlier reviews, the hot water seems to have been sorted. My room was clean, though very basic, and it looks like they're still getting things in order. There weren't any signs explaining the WiFi, and no tea or coffee setup. The main problem is how much noise carries through the floors and walls. I could hear people walking along the corridor and dropping things. I was especially unlucky with a neighbour who was in a furious mood at 2.30am, banging so loudly I thought something had collapsed. It was very unsettling. For a tight budget, it's a clean place, and I think they're working to improve it. Seems well suited to young people.

The only thing I missed in the room was a closet for my clothes, so that's why I'd give the room four stars. It was cozy and clean, and the bathroom was decent, with some shampoo provided. The breakfast was included in our package, and it was really tasty, a nice start to the day. The employees were kind and helpful throughout. I had a very pleasant stay and a good experience overall.

The common areas were clearly in the middle of major renovations, so there wasn't much there. Still, I thought my private room was good value, with a large bathroom and a good shower. The hostel was clean and in a great spot, within walking distance of Liverpool's main attractions. Our radiator wasn't working, but they brought us a small heater. Good service.

Ellie was really kind and helpful, gave us plenty of information, and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hostel is in a very convenient location. We had a top notch stay and will definitely come back when we're in the city again. For the price, I can't recommend it enough.
