I’ve driven past this pub often while working nearby, and finally stopped in for food today. Saren was at the bar and Michelle was cooking. It was a quiet Monday at 17:30. The dining area was spacious, clean and bright, with a relaxed feel and Wi-Fi available. I ordered the Llanina chicken curry with rice and chips. It came out after a short wait, with fresh rather than frozen chips, a complimentary popadom, a small naan, mango chutney and mint dip. The curry was tasty, medium in strength, and a hearty portion. Rice and chips were good too. I had a great rapport with Michelle and would recommend the food.

The Sunday lunch was good and there was plenty of it. Everything else was fine, but the server took offence when I questioned the bill, even though I’d left a good tip. I was mistaken and apologised.

Whenever we stay at our lodge, we come here. The food is always great, and the owners are lovely and happy to help with anything. I wish I could give it six stars. Definitely recommend 😀

I came down from Glasgow for the weekend and felt really welcome. It’s a beautiful hotel, the staff are amazing and so friendly, and the food is beautiful too. We’ll be back 🙂

The homemade food is full of flavour, and the staff make you feel at home. On this second visit to Llanina Arms, just the two of us, everything was faultless again. We first went a few weeks ago with friends and enjoyed it so much that we came back. I’m hard to impress with steak, but this one was cooked to absolute perfection. We can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in the area.
