Marine Hotel

The Establishment made a special trip with my elderly father and my dog amazing. Everyone, from the front of house team to the bar and restaurant staff, went well beyond what I expected. I can't praise them enough. If you're looking for a twin accessible bedroom, Room 12 is a large suite with a wet room, raised toilet and sea view. Thank you so much.

We were in room 309 at the Marine Hotel. We hadn't booked a sea view, but got a cheeky side view of the sea from the window. The team were friendly and professional, and the old hotel is lovely and right on the promenade. Breakfast is a good-value buffet, and we also enjoyed the food in the snack bar. The one thing I'd change is the mattress and pillows. They were much too hard.

For a last-minute stay at a really good price, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect, and both the bar and restaurant are really decent. Our standard room was nice and clean, with a reasonable shower. The TV even had a snooze setting, which I wish more places would stop disabling. Most of the staff were extremely friendly, especially the barman. He found me a phone charger and lent it to me without hesitation.

The food is lovely, and the reception team were amazing and very obliging. Special compliments to Fiona and Vaso, though all the staff seemed lovely. The beach and sea are right out the back, which must be fab in summer. The rooms are a little dated, but they're being refurbished.
