The area didn’t feel like the safest, though the owner has put in solid security with CCTV and password locked entrances. Getting around takes a little planning: the nearest overground station is a 5-10 minute walk, and Covent Garden is about 20 minutes away. The hostel is affordable for the comfort it offers, and the host has added decorations that make it cozy. There’s a good range of kitchen gear for cooking, plus private toilet and shower rooms that are quite new and clean.

The studio was comfortable and well located for seeing London’s sights, and our host communicated well and was very responsive to what we needed. It’s fairly close to a tube station, though you’ll need to make transfers, so check the public transport routes. One thing to know: there are steep stairs both up and down to the studio, and you’ll need to carry your luggage on them. I’d recommend it.

The rooms are lovely and new, and getting in with a code was easy. It’s a great deal for somewhere only 20 minutes from central London by tube, especially if you don’t want to spend too much.

These are private buildings with several studios inside. The location is good, near Tower Bridge, and communication was excellent. I’d stay here again.
