Courtyard By Marriott London City Airport

The location worked perfectly for getting to the o2, and the staff were fantastic. I booked a king room, which was extremely spacious, and the bed was so comfortable I could barely get out of it each morning. Breakfast was delicious, with a huge choice including gluten-free options. There’s also a gym on site with everything needed for a workout. Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in the UK, this is my favourite. I’d highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

The hotel was just a short walk from LCA, which suited my business trip. Parking was the one downside for me. Check-in was smooth, the restaurant was pleasant, and I had a warm, cosy room on the top floor. Breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from, including chef-made omelettes and eggs. The apple pie was beautiful and delicious, and Lisa, the breakfast host, was especially welcoming and helpful. Lamin made checkout easy too. Recommended.

The hotel’s communal areas were bright and clean, and the rooms had a comfortable bed, plenty of power points and USB ports, plus a European socket. The shower was good and the room was clean. The restaurant food was good, though service was slow. I had to try twice to get a waiter’s attention, and at breakfast there was only one person, who I didn’t see until I’d finished eating. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to London city airport. I’d certainly stay again if flying from LCY.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the hotel was clean and pleasant. My room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and having an iron and ironing board was handy. Although the hotel is very close to LCY Airport, I didn’t hear any outside noise. The tube station, which is also where the airport is located, was about a seven-minute walk away. It was a great stay, one of the best hotels I’ve tried in London.
