Hub by Premier Inn LON, Westminster Abbey

The WiFi didn’t work for my whole stay, and I had no mobile signal either, so I had no way to communicate with my family while I was there. The room itself was fine for what I needed: a larger room on the basement floor for an overnight work stay, with a comfy bed, decent bathroom and good facilities. Breakfast options were good and the restaurant area was nice. I’d recommend it and would probably come back with friends.

The location was the best part. We could walk everywhere, it’s a pleasant and very safe area, and the stations are just 4 minutes away. There’s a restaurant downstairs, a Pret A Manger next door, and Costa, Starbucks and pubs like The Feathers a little further along. We stayed three nights and had a very positive experience. Check-in and checkout can be done at the counter yourself, and the staff were polite. The room was very clean, with excellent decor and design. It felt tiny, almost like a cruise ship cabin, but the cupboards and drawers were cleverly laid out and everything we needed was provided. It wasn’t a major issue for three nights, but for a longer stay I’d definitely choose a bigger room.

We stay here every year for a running race, and Alvaro’s service is why we choose this hub hotel at Westminster each time. He was excellent at check-in and kindly added late checkout to our stay for free when we asked. That was really generous. Thank you, Alvaro, your kindness made our weekend.

The location is great, close to almost everything, and the people are friendly and try their best to help with whatever you need. The rooms are nearly perfect apart from their size. They’re small but cleverly designed. There isn’t a wardrobe for hanging many clothes, so you’ll need to keep them in your luggage or bring an iron.
