The Jade Hotel

I really enjoyed staying here. It’s a great spot, just five minutes from Earls court station, and the service was spot on. My room was properly cleaned every morning, the bed was comfortable, and the reception team were so friendly and helpful.

Never again. The room felt like a shoebox, with nowhere to put luggage or anything else, and it was so claustrophobic. The bed was only 1.20m, basically for one person. It was super loud, I couldn’t sleep, and the wifi didn’t work. The bathroom was moldy too. I came for a getaway and got no sleep at all. Definitely not worth the money. Horrific experience.

I’m changing hotels now because Mohammed made my stay miserable. He’s the manager, a man in his mid 40’s with glasses and a beard. He screamed at me and was incredibly rude and misogynistic, with no kindness and a body language that felt full of aggression. I’m sure he wouldn’t have spoken to a man that way. He clearly hates women, so women should be careful. He cancelled my booking so I could leave a bad review, and even refused to tell me his name.

The location was really good, close to earl courts station and easy to reach heathrow. The standard room was a letdown, though, and the smell on the lower levels was obvious. The ac was out for a long time, then came back on once it got hot, which made it hard to sleep.
