The bed was arranged so tightly against the wall that there was no way to reach the far side, meaning you have to climb over it to get in. Apart from that, the room felt modern and high-tech. The staff were all very friendly and eager to help. We managed to walk to both shows and both attractions during our three-night stay, so the location is hard to beat. It isn’t cheap, though.

We found it comfortable and quiet, with a very good bed, which is unusual for a London hotel. The place was clean, in a great location, and the staff were welcoming. Archie deserves a special thank you for going well beyond what was expected when we had a personal issue with our booking. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and he was so kind and understanding while helping us sort it out. Everyone else we met was friendly too. I’d recommend staying here. Thanks, Hannah and Tom.

We had a great stay, and the location is brilliant for everything nearby. The room was clean, modern and well equipped, with a kitchen that made it easier to cook when eating out started getting expensive. There’s plenty of space given the room size, and the local amenities are right outside. The street view was fantastic too, especially with Six and Back to the Future playing at the two theaters across the way. There were two problems on the last day. A cleaner came in while I was changing, though my partner managed to stop the door. They thought checkout was at 10AM, but ours was 11AM. Fifteen minutes later, another cleaner used their access to enter, again saying we should have checked out. We raised it with staff as we left, and they apologized, explaining a system glitch had shown the cleaners a 10AM departure. The previous night, at around 3AM, a guest burned chips while cooking and set off the fire alarm. Everyone had to wait outside in freezing weather while it was handled. There was staff on duty around the clock, and the man monitoring overnight was very apologetic. Despite that last-night hassle, I’d stay again.

The room at Level 15 looked practically new and was much cleaner than I expected. It’s in a top location, close to Marks & Spencer and lots of good places to eat. Check-in was straightforward, and while there’s no front desk, staff can be reached on WhatsApp any time of day or night. The kitchen is useful and comes with cooking utensils, a full-size fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Bring your own hair products: the shampoo smells nice but dried out my hair, and the conditioner didn’t help much. There’s no housekeeping for stays under a week. Laundry is on B1 and costs £8 to wash; the dryer is free, but takes more than an hour.

Our basement hideaway room was wonderfully quiet, even though the hotel is right in the center of everything. Three Tube stations are within a ten-minute walk, and we could easily walk to theater shows. Restaurants, museums and shops are just steps away. The room was compact but had all we needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. The staff were the real highlight. Everyone seemed genuinely focused on making sure our visit was going well. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
