The moment you walk in from the street, you can tell the team at Hotel la Place wants guests to feel welcome. I stay here often and still hate leaving each time. The rooms are charming, clean and comfortable, and the location in London is outstanding. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff are so friendly and attentive. I'm really glad I found this place.

Baker Street Tube is only about a five-minute walk away, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. We also found a nearby laundry service, and getting here from King’s Cross was easy: a quick taxi for £9 with our family and luggage. Staff were very helpful throughout. Our room was clean and comfortable, with more space than we expected in London, and an old-fashioned charm. The bathroom was well equipped, and breakfast each day had lots of tasty choices and quick service. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a convenient, comfortable visit.

The breakfast is exceptionally good, and the location is perfect. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, with the kind of feel you expect from a British hotel. We liked it enough to come back for a second stay, and we'd happily return again. Best wishes from the Antoniol family.

We were on a family trip and had two different rooms, and everyone was happy with them. The location was perfect, the front desk and breakfast room staff were consistently great, and housekeeping did a fabulous job. Everything was great when we stayed about two weeks ago. Highly recommend.

The rooms are on the small side, though they work if you don't plan to spend much time in them. I've stayed here three times, but one experience has left me uneasy. I asked to move because the room wasn't as advertised. The day manager said my luggage would be moved while I was out, and the person who handled it took my silver bracelet and expensive makeup. I made a fuss and kept pushing the issue. The next day, the staff member gave my things back with a very strange excuse. Don't leave valuable belongings in your room. I keep wondering how many times this could have happened without me noticing. It's scary.
