Bon-Ami Guest House

The contact-free check-in worked very well and the location is good. Our third-floor room meant climbing a narrow staircase with no lift, especially at the last section. There's no dedicated parking, only roadside spaces along the seafront, and we ended up quite a way from the Bon Ami. We didn't see anyone from the place to ask for local tips, and the doors were thin enough that we could hear everything in the stairwell.

We were in Lowestoft overnight to see a friend and stayed at Bon Ami. What a lovely place! Our en suite room had a lovely sea view, which we adored. Nicci, the manager, is incredibly kind and lovely. Thank you, Nicci!

Room 2 was clean and spacious, and so was the rest of the building. The window view was absolutely stunning, and the location was great. The bed was comfortable, and the shower and toilet area was plenty big enough. The staff member we met was polite, and from what I saw, the guest house seems well managed.

The breakfast downstairs had plenty to choose from, and there was lots of it. My first-floor room had a sea view, a very comfortable bed with enough pillows, and tea and coffee. I had my own good-sized private bathroom down the hall. My hosts only came in once, to check the coffee, which I thought was very good. The accommodation was clean and well maintained, right across from the beach with everything within walking distance. My host greeted me, checked my temperature and had me sanitize my hands. I had a very good stay and will always recommend it.
