Moray Beachside Apartments

We spent a week at Moray Beach view apartment, looking out over Wellington Esplanade Gardens, Claremont Pier, the magnificent fine-sand South Beach and the North Sea. It had everything we needed for a self-catered stay: a comfortable bed and sofa, a fully functional kitchen, and a bathroom with both a shower and bath. The dining table was perfectly placed for watching the world go by. There was free on-street parking outside. If that wasn't available, free off-road parking at the rear of the building was covered by CCTV. It was a pleasant walk to Lowestofe town centre, while Kirkley shopping area was just a few minutes away on foot, with a Co-Op, independent bakeries, fish and chip shops and a great range of takeaways. Lowestoft is also well placed for bike rides along the coast, with miles of dedicated cycle lanes. We timed our visit for the Summer Solstice and the ‘First Light Festival’. It was only a few minutes' walk to sit on the beach and watch the sunrise, and the festival site further along the beach was within easy walking distance over the weekend. We'll definitely book again.
