It felt like staying with family. They were so friendly and welcoming to us and our little pug, Luna. Our four-poster room had a sofa and was excellent, and it’s an easy walk to nearby facilities. Even though it’s near the road, nights were very quiet. There’s also a bar, and you can use the hot tub for a small extra fee. We’d happily come back and recommend it.

Room 2 had a four-poster bed and a sea view, and I slept comfortably to the sound of the river each night. The rooms were quiet and comfy, and breakfast was tasty, served nicely in a quaint dining room. It’s dog-friendly as well. I had a fantastic holiday in Lynmouth, and this was an excellent base. I’m very grateful they let us stay.

We went in July 2025 and plan to visit again. The couple were lovely, the rooms were quite clean, and we loved our stay. The location is perfect.

Dora dog had a great time too, and we’d love to come back. The building is beautiful and well located, with an easy walk to both the village and coast path. Jason was really friendly, and unexpectedly drove us to the pub and picked us up so we could both have a drink. Our room was cosy, beautifully presented and spotless, with a VERY comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely: we had a full English and a veggie one, both cooked perfectly, plus a huge pot of proper coffee. Lovely people and a lovely place. Highly recommended.
