Breakfast was lovely, and there’s some incredible food close by if you fancy going into the city for dinner. The hotel was very clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. It was warm in the room, but you can open the window if you don’t mind the outside noise. That comes with being right in the city centre, I suppose. I’d stay again.

The staff were helpful, professional and great throughout. They fixed an issue with my shower straight away, and stepped in when a guest causing trouble was told he couldn’t have any more alcohol. My room was lovely and the atmosphere was quiet. I also really enjoyed the Buddha Bowl. A very good stay, and I’d definitely recommend it when you’re in Manchester.

The room on the third floor was a good size and tucked away at the back. Check-in was easy, and the woman who helped me was very nice, though I can’t remember her name. You need to tap your card to use the lifts, and press a button to open the doors when you arrive. I paid extra for early check-in and late checkout. I’d stay here again.

The area isn’t the nicest part of Manchester, and it’s about a 15-minute walk from the train station. The staff were pleasant, and the food on offer was fairly inexpensive. Rooms are basic but clean, with tea and coffee available.

The bar and food were lovely, with a nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. My room was nice too, but it got extremely hot overnight. There was a fan, which helped. The main road is loud, and being near the hospital meant lots of sirens, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper or looking for peace and quiet.
