The location is excellent, with Sainsbury, KFC, Mcdonald, a shopping park and some good restaurants all within walking distance. There’s a petrol station right opposite. Many rooms have a river view, and there are plenty of parking spaces, charged separately by the hour or day. I paid £6.7 for a day. My stay at Hotel Campanile was excellent, and the room was clean with nice facilities.

My room was basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I was only there for one night before an early appointment in the city. The location was great for getting into town, with a retail park opposite. The bar and restaurant were very good. The menu didn’t label anything gluten free, but staff showed me labels for the options that were GF, and the food was excellent. A big thank you to the staff on duty. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was basic, as expected, but had what I needed and a great shower. Check-in was fairly quick, though the staff could have been a little more welcoming. Parking was good, and shops and a few food options were close by. It was awkward to find the entrance because of the sat nav settings, and there wasn’t a clear sign as we approached. Still, it was a good stay.

The location’s great for a night out, and I can’t fault the staff. Sadly, the hotel was really grubby. Our room was very dusty, the curtains were ripped, and it clearly hadn’t been vacuumed for a while. The pillow was yellowing and stained. The bathroom was awful, with mould everywhere and a drain smell.

Rooms are basic but clean, and the price was decent for what you get. We stayed two nights and had a quiet sleep, without the usual doors opening and closing in the early hours that you get in most hotels. Parking was fairly expensive, though not the worst for the location. Staff were very helpful when we asked for more towels, and got them to us really quickly.
