The room's cosy, the bed is really comfortable, and the big bathroom and fluffy towels are a lovely touch. I love the decor, and the bar and food are great too. This was my second stay, and I'm coming back again next week. The church bells ring during the night, but they didn't bother me. Earplugs are available if you need them.

The village setting is pleasant, and the pub itself is nice. The staff were friendly, but our walking group's lunch was badly let down by the service. We'd sent our choices ahead for a group of about 28, yet the meals came out erratically. At my table of six, two people had finished before three of us had even been served. My fish was fine, though the chips were barely warm. Two colleagues ordered the same pasta, but one got a hot plate and the other's was cold, and that was after other people had finished eating. I estimate my meal arrived around 25 minutes after the first one at our table. I understand serving a group all at once is difficult, but most pubs we visit on our twice-monthly walks get everyone's food out within five or six minutes. If larger groups can't be served in a similar timeframe, that should be explained when booking. I wouldn't want to put off a smaller group of four to six, but the kitchen seems to struggle with larger numbers. Disappointing.

We had Sunday lunch here and it was delicious, with great value for money. The rooms were lovely and clean, the bed was good, and the food was very good.

The pub is quirky, the food was cracking, breakfast was great, and there's an extensive choice of drinks. We stayed one night in a smart room with a great bathroom and shower, separate from the main building, with parking right outside. Set in a nice Cheshire village, Swan Innat Wybunbury is a quintessential countryside pub. Couldn't fault it.

Pauline was a legend, and we had so many laughs with her. The staff were the friendliest, the food was so good, and our room was clean and fresh. What a great place to drop in for a night and be treated so well!
