Sleeperz Newcastle

The location made things easy, central and only a few minutes’ walk from the station. My room, 206, was at the back, so it was quiet outside; I heard some corridor and neighbouring-room noise, but none from outdoors. It wasn’t too bad. The room and bathroom were very clean, and both were a decent size. The bed and mattress were comfortable enough, and the sheets were fine. Breakfast was great and the staff were accommodating. Michael gave me a warm, very friendly welcome at check-in, and the whole team were lovely. For a 3-star hotel, I’d give it five stars. I was very happy with my stay.

We found it easy to explore at our own pace, with places around the city just a short walk or quick ride away. The staff were welcoming and efficient, and the central location was a real highlight. Our room was well maintained, with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the bathrooms were spotless and had the expected amenities. For the price, it was fantastic value. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would return next time.

The hotel is modern, and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast had a great range of hot and cold options. The only drawbacks were that the shower water was cold and the room still felt cold even with the thermostat at 28 degrees. We didn’t mind too much since we were in and out.

The bathroom was the only real drawback. The door didn’t offer much privacy, and the wet room setup meant the floor was often wet. Everything else suited us well for a couple of nights away. The room was clean and a decent size and layout, with a big mirror, a neat wee kettle and a TV we could watch from bed. Staff were pleasant, and even with my terrible sense of direction, it was very straightforward to get there from the train station.
