The Chicken 65 was out of this world, and Narendra was really friendly. We tried the Pan Asian menu and ordered starters only, asking for them to be made spicy. The Samosa Chaat was good too, as were the Fried Chicken Gyoza and Duck Spring Roll. I personally asked for the chef to be complimented.

The lunchtime discount was hefty and the prices were very good. We enjoyed the Ringwood forty niner on tap, and Neck Oil too, which is my favourite ale. My wife and I had lunch here today, and the food was simply delicious, with generous portions of meat and fantastic flavours. Our server went above and beyond. Thank you, Narendra, you made us laugh. We'll definitely visit again.

The flavours are on another level, and the food feels like proper traditional cooking rather than an ordinary British curry. It's not especially expensive either. For me, this is the best Indian/Nepalese food in Stamford and Rutland. Highly recommended.

The staff and owner were both very pleasant, and we'd definitely go back. We both had curries, which were generous and full of flavour. Seeing that some of the other customers might have been Indian felt like a good sign. We used the half price lunchtime food offer; at regular prices, it costs a bit more than the usual "Indian" restaurants.

My curry was the tastiest and most succulent I've ever had, with a good portion and spot on service. We'd built up a hiker's appetite while walking the Rutland Round, so the restaurant's authentic curries sounded right. They also serve traditional pub meals. Before eating, we stopped for a drink in the bar, but the beer we wanted wasn't available, so we had to settle for lager. We stayed in the pub's accommodation, which is in a separate building behind the main one, and it was lovely and quiet. Our room was clean and well maintained.
