Room 12 was covered in dust, and it was clear the rooms hadn't been properly cleaned for quite a while. I wouldn't stay here. The door to the room opens outwards, which feels less safe since it can't be blocked from inside like an inward-opening door.

The basement flat was freezing, with only a tiny radiator, and it was very dirty. There was mildew on the walls, dusty shelves, and the kitchen tap took ages to warm up despite the weak water pressure. The lino had tears and holes, and a kitchen cupboard was missing its handle. We arrived to find someone else's food still in the fridge. After two nights and paying 150, that standard just wasn't acceptable. A really poor stay, and I can't recommend it.

It was good value, but things were broken in several places. We also found mouldy bread left by the door when we arrived, which the cleaners had forgotten to throw away. Our basement room didn't have an oven, unlike the others in the building, so we ended up wasting food.

I stayed for several weeks, and the staff did a lot to make me comfortable. The manager came to my room when I moved in, maintenance replaced the TV when I asked, and Jean from cleaning was especially helpful. Once I left dirty dishes in the sink and came back to find them washed and on the drying rack, ready to use. I hadn't asked anyone to do that. Some reviews mention that Noa Residence could update its amenities, but the staff deserve real credit for being willing to make adjustments. The service was exceptional, and I'd gladly stay again.

A quiet, private place with really strong, reliable internet, and good value for Oxford. The neighborhood is lovely, with restaurants and shops in Summertown just a short walk away. The studio and small apartments have the practical things you need, including a washer-dryer, oven and range, table and chairs, dishes, drying rack, closet, and a tub and shower. There’s bike parking and some car parking too. The rooms feel tasteful rather than corporate, and work well for academics or business travelers as well as tourists. A great place to stay.
