Brampton Guest House

Marina is a lovely hostess, and she’s recently started a photo gallery that captures Paignton and its unique character. I’m staying at Brampton Guesthouse now and feel very well looked after. It’s a peaceful, comfortable place, with the beach nearby for scenic walks along the Coastal Path. The guesthouse is also well placed between the sea and town centre. I’d highly recommend it.

My grandchildren said this was their best holiday, and we’d all be happy to stay again. Marina was very friendly and welcoming during our three-night visit with my daughter and three grandkids. The two rooms were spacious, each with an en suite, and there was a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean, with a fan and TV in each room, plus a nice little outdoor area for sitting or eating.

There was plenty of room for my wife, me, and our two teenagers, and we’ll definitely come back. Marina gave us a warm welcome. The room was clean, with fresh bedding and clean carpets, and had just about everything we needed: a microwave, fridge, dishes, cutlery, iron, hairdryer, toilet, and shower.

It was good value for money, and we’d recommend it and stay again. We could walk to town and the pier, the beds were comfortable, and the room had what we needed. The host left cookies, which was a lovely surprise, and provided tea, coffee, shower gel, and hand wash. There was no curfew, so we could come and go as we pleased. Our small en suite was sufficient, though the rooms themselves felt a bit cramped. The fan was a godsend because they got very hot. A few drawbacks: there was no oven, our toes touched the end of the bed, and there was no parking. The TV was mounted high, making it quite dark to watch. From the photos and description, we thought we had a patio, but it was actually the area by the property entrance.
