Cherry Tree Hotel

I’ve been coming to the cherry tree for years, from when I taught scuba courses up to now. Allan and Trish have always gone above and beyond for customer service, and they found us a room at the last minute for a few days on our honeymoon. They’re always there for a chat and local information at breakfast. Trish’s cooking is out of this world, and they really try hard to please. Can’t fault anything. I’ll be back to see you soon, Tom (tall guy).

Alan was friendly, and we enjoyed hearing his stories. My son and I had a really enjoyable week at Cherry Tree Hotel. The hospitality, room, and location were all five-star, and breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day.

We’ve already booked our return for May 2026. This was our second year with Alan, Trish, and Gemma, and they always make us feel welcome and part of the family. We had the promised sea view room, and waking up to that view was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty too. Thank you all!

We could watch the air-show from our seafront-facing room, and walk straight over to see it. We booked specifically for the beachfront location, and the B&B car park meant we had no parking trouble. Alan and Trish went out of their way to make sure everyone had a good stay. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day, and it was really quiet at night. Breakfast was lovely. We could easily walk to the Railway Station to catch the steam train to Dartmouth. We’d highly recommend the B&B. The Red Arrows photo was taken from our room during the air-show.
