We stayed three nights while riding the Coast 2 Coast, and it was an ideal base for the trip. The owners were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had an amazing choice and quality that really set us up for the day. It’s a traditional three storey Victorian terrace close to a road, with stairs up to the rooms. None of that affected how much we enjoyed staying there. My three friends and I would totally recommend this top place.

The cat park is across the road, and there’s free parking outside after 6pm and on Sundays. We stayed one night while seeing a show in Penrith and would come back when we’re in the area. The location was great, the rooms and ensuite were immaculate, and breakfast was delicious. The owners were lovely and attentive. Thanks for a lovely stay. X

I was staying for work for a few nights, and they were understanding about my unsociable hours. The people running the place were lovely and friendly. My room was clean and tidy, with tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of choice. The brownie waiting each night when I got back was extremely good, just what I needed with a brew. Towels, soap and shampoo were provided too. Thanks so much for making my brief stay as comfortable as I needed.
