My aunt and uncle were so happy with their room that they’ve already promised to come back. We had a lovely evening at The Meikleour Arms for my aunt’s 80th birthday, and everything went smoothly. The private dining room was beautifully decorated and worked perfectly for our group. The food went down well with everyone, and they even had water bowls ready for our two dogs, a really thoughtful touch. The place is very dog-friendly. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. Our taxi was delayed, so we were the last ones leaving, but they stayed patient and kind and made us feel at ease. We can’t wait to return.

The apple and plum crumble was very good, and the pigeon breast with duo of venison was especially tasty. My wife and I came for our anniversary, and both the food and service were exceptional. I believe many of the ingredients are grown on the estate, which seems to show in the quality of the produce. Would highly recommend.

The food was excellent throughout, with generous portions and everything cooked beautifully. We had a lovely family lunch here on Boxing Day, a great way to spend the afternoon together. It was relaxed and welcoming, and the friendly staff were really attentive. Everything came out in good time, and we never felt hurried. We’d happily come back for another family get-together.

From the unassuming bar and lounge at the entrance, you wouldn’t guess there’s a beautiful, bright room beyond, with a skylight. I had an incredible meal in the Atrium on Saturday afternoon. The staff were polite and attentive, and the food was worthy of any high-end restaurant.

The cottage we stayed in was lovely, with good-quality furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. Having an enclosed area for the dog was a huge bonus. Just bear in mind, it’s a 15-minute walk through the estate to the hotel, and it’s dark.
