The Royal George Hotel

The Tay views were lovely, the room had what we needed and it was fairly quiet. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. The room could use more attention to detail. There were maintenance problems, including mould around the taps and bath, and the mattress definitely needs replacing.

We had a nice birthday stay in a "Wee Suite" with my wife. The atmosphere was nice, service excellent and breakfast good. The rooms were adequate, though a little tired in places. There isn't much onsite parking, but it was easy enough to find alternatives nearby at minimal cost. Excellent spot for a night out in Perth town.

The room was large, but the decor was terrible and the heating was shockingly poor. I've never slept somewhere so cold. The duvet was paper thin, the bed really uncomfortable, and I barely slept. Water dripped from the shower all night. There's basically no parking at the hotel, so I had to walk 20 minutes from an unsecured car park. Breakfast was disgusting. I'd never come back or recommend it, and would love my money back.

The room was nice and clean, and the staff were pleasant. Parking was a bit of a problem. The radiator sat in a bay window behind full-length curtains, and the bed was too soft with uncomfortable pillows. The food was warm, but the self-serve hot breakfast was also just warm and not very nice.
