Rosemount Hotel

We had an easy time parking, and breakfast was great, especially the avocado on toast. The staff were friendly, helpful, and didn’t mind all our outdoor gear. Our “King or twin, plus single” room was probably the biggest hotel room I’ve stayed in. There was plenty of space to spread out our hiking kit while getting ready for each day’s climb of a local Munro.

The shower had very weak pressure, which made washing my hair difficult. I was also disappointed that the avocado toast came with ready-made guacamole instead of fresh avocado. At breakfast, the waitress checked on every other table but ours, although the older gentleman who first greeted us was very friendly. The hotel itself is charming and well located, with spacious, clean rooms that had everything we needed. Parking was available, and the directions to our room were clear even though we arrived late. Breakfast choices were straightforward, and the price seemed fair compared with other places nearby.

The en-suite was small and could use a refresh, and the shower flow was poor. Still, we enjoyed our stay at this quiet hotel. The bedroom was clean, the bed comfortable, the food very good, and the atmosphere nice.

The views were stunning, the facilities fantastic, the food great, and our room immaculate. The location was perfect too. What really stood out was the brilliant service and how friendly everyone was. Keith and his team made us feel so welcome, almost like family. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.
