The room felt fresh and new, with a spotless bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, and it warmed up fast. The receptionist was brilliant, professional, kind, and really helpful. I did hear someone talking in another room, including their child shouting, and the radiator kept clicking while I was trying to sleep. A bit more soundproofing would help. Still, this has been my favourite Premier Inn so far.

The breakfast was tasty, with plenty of fresh things to choose from, and having a great pub right next door made dinner easy. The hotel was immaculate in both the rooms and shared areas. Staff were friendly and professional from the moment we arrived, and clearly cared about making people feel welcome. This was easily my best Premier Inn stay in a long time. I’d happily return to this Preston South (Craven Drive) location.

The breakfast was lovely, but the unlimited hot option felt misleading. They cooked what you ordered, then took the menu away, so there was no chance to ask for anything more. The room was clean and basic. There’s no bar, and they don’t serve lunch or dinner, with very little else on offer. A small bag of crisps from the vending machine cost £1.80. We had a child with us, and there’s a pub about a five minute walk away, handy if walking that far isn’t a problem.

Every Thursday morning for over a year, my stepdad and I have come here for breakfast. Donna always makes a fab breakfast, and Giovanna gives such good service. Honestly, it’s the best breakfast we’ve had. I’ll keep recommending this place.

Kerry and the team gave the kids Happy New Year colouring sheets, crayons and chocolate Santa lollies, and they were completely delighted. We stayed as a family on 31st Dec 2025 while driving south, and it was just right as a stopover. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the cooked breakfast set us up well for the rest of the drive. Thanks again, Laura.
