North End Farm Country Guest House

This was my second stay, and Julie made me feel very welcome. It’s an ideal place, five minutes outside Scarborough, with the park and ride just two minutes away and easy access to the moors. There’s an excellent breakfast choice, including the best bacon I’ve tasted in a long time. Seamer also has two decent pubs for evening meals. Highly recommended.

The caravan wasn’t modern, but it had been upgraded to feel more up to date, and I thought the price was worth it for a caravan experience. It’s in an area with stables and horses, so dogs need to be controlled. The location is good for local shops and pubs, well worth a try.

The place was lovely and clean, and the couple running it were welcoming and very hospitable. They liked chatting and sharing information, which gave our stay a personal touch. My only comment is that the menu had few vegetarian options. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Ian and Julie are fantastic hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The Farmhouse rooms are excellent, the Static Caravan is lovely, and Piglet Cottage is beautiful. Seamer has three great pubs. The location is ideal for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and Railway, Scarborough and Olivers Mount Motorcycle Racing, with buses and trains to York, Leeds and beyond.
