The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and made a late arrival after ferry delays easy. They also put out a lovely vegan breakfast each day. The hotel sits in beautiful, very peaceful surroundings, and our room was clean and nicely furnished. We'll definitely come back next time we're on the island.

Carole and Mick made us feel like we'd known them for years, with their warm chats at breakfast and their readiness to help with anything. We spent three nights at Rylstone Manor with my partner, and the breakfast was outstanding, kippers included, sorry Mick. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped, with a lovely view from the window. The hotel has loads of character and is in a wonderful spot. See you all again soon, and hope the badgers are okay.

We stayed in the four-poster room, which was very comfortable and had windows on two sides. The Victorian manor is full of character and the rooms are well appointed. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including a delicious full English and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. The owners are delightful, and the house looks out over beautiful gardens. Well worth booking.

The owners, Mike &Carole, couldn't have been more helpful, and their local tips were great. Breakfast was freshly cooked with local produce, and we're definitely planning to return. The hotel is peaceful and pretty, with lovely gardens and a sea view if you walk to the end. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break.

Mike and Carole made us feel so welcome. We loved every minute in this wonderful place, with its lovely clean, comfortable room and gorgeous breakfast. Can't wait to visit again.
