Holiday Inn Sittingbourne Coniston Hotel

I was there for about 1.5 months and never had a complaint. The staff's kindness and care made a real difference over such a long stay, and I felt at home from check-in through to leaving. The room service and cleaning staff kept everything spotless and comfortable. Meals were a strong point, with fresh, tasty, well-prepared breakfasts and dinners and plenty of variety every day. Manpreet, Donovan, and Mathew on the breakfast team were especially cheerful and attentive, always making sure I had what I needed. The reception team, Jode, Jack, Issac, Caran, and Niro, were just as professional, friendly, and caring. Thanks to the Holiday Inn Sittingbourne team for making my stay so enjoyable. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The staff were extremely helpful and chatty, and the food was tasty at reasonable prices. I was staying for work, and having lunch and dinner available saved me a walk into town. Breakfast was self-service, with a full English as well as cereal, pastries, fruit, and yoghurt. There are also plenty of places to eat in town, about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is very central and handy for the M2 and M20. My room was clean and comfortable, with a huge bed. A wall divided it, with the TV at the end of the bed on one side and a desk and tea-making things on the other. There was also a place to hang clothes, an ironing board and iron, a hairdryer, and a safe. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over it, which worked well and was hot, plus shower gel and shampoo. There was a kettle, two coffee sachets, four Twining tea bags, and four UHT tubs. My only gripe was the brick wall outside the window. Still, I'd stay again if I needed to.

The rooms were fine, though I couldn't tell whether the air conditioning worked. Dinner was nice, while breakfast was only okay. It's a decent place in a good spot, with town within walking distance. Just an okay stay overall.
