We asked for rose petals on the bed for our Valentine’s stay, and the hotel provided them. The room was spotless, the huge bed felt like a cloud, and it was completely quiet at night. Everything is very central, just a short walk from the town centre. The hotel is brand new, clean and modern, with excellent customer service. We didn’t have dinner at the Atlantic Gate restaurant and bar, but its buffet breakfast was lovely, with everything from smoothies, yogurt, cereal, croissants and breads to cooked breakfast with potatoes and green beans, plus boiled, poached and other kinds of eggs. I’d highly recommend staying at the Voco and would definitely return. Thank you!

The meeting space was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and had everything well organised. I visited voco for a business meeting and had a really good experience. The food was fresh, nicely presented and tasted great, and the coffee was spot on. I’d definitely come back.

Carly at reception gave us such a warm welcome and brilliant customer service. Her helpful advice about the local area made sure we had a great day out in Southampton. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and drinks, and the Virgin Bloody Marys were a lovely touch. Simmi made it even better with outstanding service, a smile, and top-notch banter. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!

We dropped into Voco Southampton at short notice because we needed a private room for a business call. Jozsef and Jason were helpful and professional throughout, and the service was excellent. We were so pleased that we stayed for lunch, which was delicious. Simmi looked after us brilliantly too. What a great team.

We got a bargain: one night’s stay and cruise parking for £120, which was much easier than driving into the port or arranging parking somewhere else. The hotel is lovely and perfectly placed for the port. Our clean room on the 5th floor had enormous windows and a great view of the ship, along with a walk-in shower, bottled water and a quality selection of tea and coffee. The big bed and great pillows were just what we needed after a long journey. Priya gave us a great welcome at check-in, helped me fill in the parking details on the tablet and explained everything we needed to know. Communication was pleasant and genuine, and checkout was great too. Breakfast was busy, but we were seated quickly. The staff were very pleasant and there was plenty of the usual breakfast choice. Thank you, I’d recommend it.
