Breakfast had a great range and everything tasted delicious. We were very comfortable in our room, with a lovely view and all we needed. Jo and Buzz were wonderful hosts and happy to help with anything. We really enjoyed staying at Beaches Guest House, and would happily return when we're in Southend. Definitely recommend it.

We stayed for the night of our wedding and had a lovely time. The room was clean, with a great view over the estuary, and breakfast was lovely too. The staff were so welcoming. They let us put decorations in the room and let my mum bring over some presents and unpack our bags.

The meal we had the following day was delicious, and they'd reserved a table for us. For our wedding night at the beginning of August, my wife and I couldn't have picked a better place than Beaches Guest House. The staff were really friendly, and answered my questions when I called about the arrangements. We especially liked the bunting they'd put up with “just married” on it. Book Beaches Guest House if you're after a weekend away, a one-night stay, or a wedding night like ours. Wow!

The hosts were fabulous, and I had a great night's sleep. My large room had a beautiful view, and I loved the interior decor. Free parking and an amazing breakfast, too. I can't find fault with this beautiful guest house. It may be the best place I've stayed. Highly recommend it for a quiet, peaceful getaway for adults. Not suitable for hen or stag dos or loud groups.
