The Eaton Oak

A great spot for the whole family to get together. There were plenty of choices, and everything was delicious. The staff were patient with all of us, from Gran to my toddler. They brought the little one's food straight away while the rest of us took our time deciding. We had a perfect lunch and will be back.

Murphy, our vizsla/Weimaraner dog, joined us for breakfast the next morning. The manager greeted us, showed us to a table, and took our order. Breakfast was delicious. On Christmas Day, despite the restaurant being full and busy, the manager gave us a cheerful welcome and was happy to help with anything. Our room was clean, very comfortable, and had been fully aired. The service from the Eaton Oak staff was exemplary, and the facilities were 10/10. Thank you for making our Christmas night stay so special. I can’t recommend the Eaton Oak or its staff enough.

Harriett was lovely and attentive as always, even while she was rushed off her feet. It looked like she was handling the whole floor, including a large function and all areas of the restaurant, on her own. Credit to her, she’s an amazing waitress and deserves praise. We had a lovely meal tonight at Eaton oak!

We knew we wanted to eat at The Eaton Oak after stopping by a few days before New Year to ask about holiday opening hours. The team shared the full schedule and explained which areas were dog-friendly. They even offered Merlin fresh water and dog biscuits, which was such a warm welcome. When we came back for a meal on New Years Day, the staff were just as attentive to Merlin, so we felt completely relaxed bringing him along. The food was delicious and filling, and the onion rings were especially tasty, some of the best we’ve had. The atmosphere was great too. The staff clearly care about their guests, both human and canine. We’ll definitely be back.
