We come back often and have never had a bad meal at The Eltisley. The food is always excellent, and the staff are friendly and professional. It’s a lovely dining pub with good guest beers and a relaxed feel, plus a huge log burner. There are dining rooms for different group sizes, including a cosy private dining area.

The food and service are very good, and the place has a lovely atmosphere. It’s not especially cheap, but the quality is good. The old inn/pub has a nice modern touch. Ignore the local A428 roadworks and take the back roads and lanes instead. It’s a lovely drive out and well worth it.

The pub is lovely and the staff are lush, which makes the food a real shame. My salmon starter had the tiniest piece of smoked salmon, with literally no taste. The bread and butter starter came with margarine instead of butter, and the burger was as dry as the Sahara.

Lovely setting and friendly staff, with a good choice of drinks and a separate dining area. There are a few parking spaces at the front and more round the back, plus disabled parking and a disabled loo.

The service was great, and the pub was clean and tidy. We had Sunday lunch with my partner’s grandma, and the roast was exquisite: tender beef, well-seasoned vegetables, cauliflower cheese, and a big fluffy Yorkshire pudding. We’d planned to have pudding too, but there was no room after that meal. Very impressed, and we’ll visit again.
