Longueville Manor

We had a lovely lunch from the market menu, then spent as long as we liked having tea in the garden before our trip to the airport. There was an old cat quietly soaking up the sun, which we loved seeing. The food, staff and setting were all lovely. I’d happily come back, and would even think about staying here.

The meals were some of the best we’ve had, and the chef handled our vegan and non-dairy needs with ease. The room service team was just as impressive: nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they left things arranged the way we’d set them up. Brian and Benson greeted us like old friends, while Tara charmed everyone and kept an eye on the weather so outdoor dining was set up at the right times. The service throughout is exceptionally good. Luca, who leads F and B, seems to notice everything as he wanders around, bringing such positive energy that everyone feels special. We saw how beautifully he handled an 18th birthday dinner, and it was genuinely moving. He’s young but hugely experienced, and his talent should be bottled. This is a charming, very special hotel. We’ll definitely be back.

Leaving Longueville Manor always has me thinking about coming back. Luca, Chef Andrew and their teams make the place feel warm and welcoming, and you can tell how much care goes into looking after guests. The bar, restaurant and kitchen staff are all outstanding. I’ve travelled a lot, but this place still feels magical, with that something extra. The food is excellent, as always, and every visit is an amazing experience. See you soon.

We stayed as a family in both the cottage and the rooms, and had an incredible time. The peaceful grounds and hotel made it easy to unwind. Staff were always around and very attentive, making sure we had what we needed, and breakfast and lunch were amazing. A lovely choice for a relaxing break, whether you’re travelling with family or on your own.
