Premier Inn London Stansted Airport

I had a one-night layover in London, flying into Heathrow and out of Stansted, and needed somewhere quiet and convenient. This hotel was a good fit, and the price was great. I was surprised by how peaceful it was so close to STN airport. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the front desk staff were very friendly. There's also a restaurant on site, which is handy with only a few fast food options nearby. I'd stay again. It deserves an average closer to 4.5 stars.

The Premier Plus room was the nicest one I've stayed in at a Premier Inn. It was beautifully decorated, with a lovely bathroom, a big TV, and a very comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet all night, which is great before a flight. WiFi was fast enough, though I stuck with my faster 5G, and the coffee machine was welcome in the morning. The staff were friendly as well. We had booked before parking charges changed, but the desk clerk didn't know about the discount and waived the whole fee, which was kind. It's very handy for Stansted, just a five-minute drive to our airport car park. I'll definitely use it again.

The room was nice and it was a good stay. We had water and juice with us, so a mini fridge would have helped, though we didn't really mind that it was missing. There was no phone signal, but the WiFi came in handy.

Check-in was really friendly, and the room was clean with the usual super-comfortable Premier Inn bed. I have no complaints about the hotel. The airport shuttle is the one drawback: it costs £8 for a return trip. The map makes it look like you can walk from the terminal, but you can't.
