Stratford Manor Hotel

There’s a good games room with pool, table tennis, foosball and air hockey, plus a heated swimming pool, which is a big plus. The hotel is modern, large and well equipped, so it doesn’t feel like a traditional manor house. Rooms are a good size, with a combined shower and bathtub in the bathroom. The full English buffet breakfast is good, the Wi-Fi works well, and prices are reasonable. Service is okay. A shame there aren’t any family rooms.

This was our second stay at The Stratford Manor Hotel n Spa this year, after a family member recommended it for our summer visit. Everyone was friendly, smiling and helpful again, with no miserable staff. The rooms are big and airy, the bed is comfy, and the bathroom has a good-sized tub and a mirror you can actually use for makeup. I love that there are two chairs to relax in, since a room for two often only has one comfy chair. We also had a complimentary, well-stocked fridge. Breakfast cost extra, but was worth it, and the bar food was great. This hotel is a gem. Looking forward to coming back.

A golden ticket made our getaway at Stratford Manor unforgettable, and the team, led by Dan Coyle, looked after my partner and me so well from the moment we arrived. Check-in was seamless, and staff greeted us warmly. The room was pristine, cozy and carefully prepared. Every meal was great and tailored to what we liked, and the staff we met were attentive and showed real care. It made the stay truly memorable. We can’t wait to return.

A breakdown meant I had to book and arrive in the middle of the night, but the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They even changed the duvet at 3am because I'm allergic to feather quilts. The room was pleasant and breakfast was good. Special thanks to Aziz, a phenomenal asset to the hotel.
