The hotel’s artwork was a lovely part of our stay. We enjoyed meeting Ted and seeing his studio, even if his work was a bit beyond our budget. After long walks nearby, it was lovely to unwind in our room and take in the sea views. We had a four-poster bed, a sofa and two armchairs, and the food and drink were good quality and reasonably priced, so we ate at the hotel each evening. Breakfast was very good too. We spent three nights here for my birthday and absolutely loved it. The views from the bedroom were wonderful, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed for three nights from 1 March and can’t wait to visit again. Room 301 was gorgeous and cosy, with a comfortable four-poster bed and a great shower and bath. The food was delicious, and every room was beautiful, with Ted’s artwork looking stunning throughout. Ted and all the staff treated us like family and went above and beyond.

Our room had plenty of space for us and our dog, plus a great view of the sea and Tintagle Castle. The hotel is handy for the South West Coast Path and just a few minutes’ walk from Tintagle. Staff were warm and welcoming, the food and bar were good, and it’s pet friendly. We had a great stay and I’d go back.

The Atlantic sunset from the hotel grounds was so peaceful, and we enjoyed sitting by the sea when we came back in the evening. The food was hearty but refined, with local Cornish flavours, and we left very satisfied. Even a short visit to Camelot Castle Hotel felt like stepping into another era, with history, beauty and a little magic around every corner. The cliffside setting above Tintagel brings stunning ocean views, and the rooms have plenty of character. Staff were warm and welcoming too. I’d happily recommend a stay here.

The food was excellent, and we were upgraded from a moor view to a sea view, thank you. Ted’s artwork is fantastic and displayed all around the hotel. The castle itself is spotless and looks superb, with amazing views. All the staff were lovely during our midweek break. My one small suggestion is to add shower caddies, as there’s nowhere to put your things. We’d definitely recommend it and come back.
