£18 got me a burger and fries, then there was another 12.5% service charge. The vegan menu is tiny, and my burger was half the size of the meat one with only lettuce inside. If you're vegan, don't bother. Way too expensive.

The food was really poor quality for such high prices. I ordered grilled hadok, but what arrived was defrosted steamed herring, nothing like what I asked for. The service was unacceptable too. The young girls seemed not to know their jobs and came across as arrogant and rude, despite treating customers with great courtesy. I wouldn't recommend it.

The setting is very nice, with good furniture and cutlery, but the food was overpriced and the service was poor. I wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which is the one good thing I can say. The food was surprisingly bad. During our two weeks in the UK, this was by far the worst meal we'd had. I'm 98% sure the pizza was frozen and reheated in the kitchen. Its dough was hard as a rock, and the chicken had that chewy texture you only get with frozen chicken. The burger was just "ok" at best. I hate leaving a bad review, but as a meal this was a poor experience in every way, especially for a place branded and priced as an upscale hotel and restaurant. I don't know where the other good food reviews came from. Maybe they cut costs, got a new chef, or the chef was away the night we went. I would have given the food 0 stars.

That valley view from the restaurant is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere's great. The food was delicious, too, and it's dog friendly. Really good value for money. Very recommended 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
