The Abbey Hotel

I've stayed here four times because the location is so good. It's now under new management, and they charge for the parking permit. Luckily, I had booked last year. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful. With the windows open, we could hear noise from nearby pubs, and exposed pipes in our room made quite a racket when the next room ran water. Continental breakfast is included, but there's no cooked option, not even porridge.

Our host was kind and very helpful with whatever we needed during the stay. The Abbey is in a quiet street but right by the centre, so it's a great spot if you want to be close to everything. The room felt lovely and homey, and the information booklet had hotel recommendations for restaurants and cafes. I really enjoyed staying here.

I stayed six nights at the end of March 2024 on a business trip, and the friendly, cosy feel of the hotel made a real impression on me. Everyone was easy to talk to, and Dee and Suzy especially looked after me so well. It's also just a few minutes from Cheltenham High Street. If I come back to town, I'll choose this lovely B&B again.

The room was cozy, and the location is handy for the town centre while still being nice and quiet. The staff were lovely and gave me all the information I needed to enjoy my stay. The Abbey has a really warm, welcoming feel. Definitely recommend it!
