We came for Alton towers, which is only minutes away, and wouldn't choose anywhere else in the area now. The hosts were lovely, the room was clean and comfortable, and the full English breakfast was a great start to the day. All at a very fair price. Top notch!

We stayed on the way back from Alton towers. It's a cosy place in a lovely spot, and the room was clean apart from limescale in the kettle. The breakfast was great, and they catered for my vegetarian needs. The hosts were friendly in our other interactions, though one exchange was disappointing: when my partner politely asked for more toiletries, the response was abrupt and we were told we'd already been given enough. There was only a 35ml bottle of shampoo and shower gel, with no conditioner. I have very long hair, and after walking around all day we needed to shower twice and wash twice, so that wasn't enough for me or for both of us. That's a personal need, and I would have liked them to provide more when asked. They should also mention that their dog is around, since some guests may be afraid of dogs or allergic.

Free parking round the back and a lovely breakfast made this a great place for our Alton Towers visit. It's just 15-20 minutes away, and everything was very clean. The hosts were wonderful too. Thanks, we'll see you next time we visit the park!

Breakfast was tasty, with cereal, toast and yogurt available before the full English. We slept well in a spotless, spacious room, and check-in was quick. The hosts made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Very pleased with the stay and would come back. Thank you!

We had to leave early for the Alton Towers Half Marathon, and the hosts kindly arranged an early breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious, parking felt safe and secure, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Communication was fantastic too. We wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely come back. :-)
