We stayed for my cousin’s wedding, and my mum and I had such a lovely time. Gail gave us great tips about the area, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Our room was beautifully decorated and cosy, with really comfortable beds and bedding. We’d love to come back when we’re nearby.

We loved relaxing with a glass of wine in the sitting room. From there, the location was lovely, with views over the garden and Mere church. The B&B has plenty of character and gorgeous bedrooms, and Gail was a wonderful host. She even got up early to make us breakfast before we had to leave.

I came back October 6-8 2025 and it was just as wonderful as before. Gail was so welcoming, the bedrooms were superb, and breakfast was magnificent. On my earlier visit, I’d also found the bed very comfortable and the hosts welcoming. It’s right in central Mere but still very quiet. I really hope to visit again.

Castle Hill is only a short walk away and has amazing views across the village and surrounding countryside. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to a charming room overlooking a quiet street. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Free parking was available on the street or at a public car park a short walk away. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Gail was so warm and welcoming, and everything was really well organised. The B&B is right in the centre of Mere, with free parking close by. Our room was lovely, the bed super comfortable, and there was a superb choice of breakfasts. It was perfect for our night away. Sorry, no pics. Thanks, Gail.
