Chris, the manager on duty, was especially kind to our kids while we were checking in, and the whole staff came across as professional. At breakfast they made me a soft-boiled egg just the way I like it. The room was clean to a very good standard, and breakfast was good too. We stayed last weekend and had a pleasant time. Thank you to the whole team.

Handy spot for getting around, with plenty of bars and restaurants a five-minute walk away. New Street Station is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel itself is good, with clean, tidy rooms. The restaurant serves decent-value pub grub, and the self-service buffet breakfast is good.

We slept really well, then had a great breakfast with loads of options. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is so close to Symphony Hall, which was ideal for our night out at a show. A real hidden gem. We’d definitely stay again.

This was my second stay and I had another really nice time. The reception staff were friendly, and getting here from the city centre was easy. The Mailbox is nearby, with tourist spots around the hotel too. The only downside is the lack of parking, apart from spaces for disabled parking. I’ll definitely come back.

The duty manager went out of their way to find me somewhere to work during the day. Our receptionist was incredibly helpful too, even though they’d only started the job the week before. We had a lovely stay, thanks!
