Kathy was there to help from the minute we arrived. She was so friendly and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our rooms. The rooms were spacious and comfy too. Thanks, Kathy!

I was there for one business night. I’ve stayed at plenty of Premier Inns and usually count on getting a decent sleep, but this place needs some TLC. Dated decor and an old building are understandable. A dirty bathroom isn’t. These photos were taken as soon as I walked in, and finding random hairs on different surfaces was really unpleasant. Disappointing.

Handy location with a pub attached, so food is easy to find. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

A group of us stayed here and ate at the restaurant next door. They asked about pre-booking breakfast, and I said I wasn’t sure what time I’d be leaving and asked if I could decide later. I was told that would be fine. But the next morning, when I went down, they wouldn’t serve me because I hadn’t booked ahead. Nobody had said a booking was required, and several other guests were in the same position. They said they had 80 people to feed and couldn’t fit anyone else in. I’ve stayed at other Premier Inns and never had this happen, usually you can sort breakfast in the morning. We went elsewhere and got breakfast without any trouble. I won’t use this Premier Inn again.

We arrived late and were only staying for one night. Kathy greeted us warmly and went out of her way to help us settle in and enjoy our stay.
