Breakfast was a full English cooked to perfection, and the seafront location means everything you need is close by. My room was clean and cosy, the bed lovely and comfortable, and it felt like home. Jonathan and the team gave me the warmest welcome. Jonathan is lovely and couldn't do enough for me, and the rest of the team were just as good. I highly recommend the Richmond hotel for a short or long stay. Thanks for a wonderful few days.

The manager was a super friendly guy, and the location is great, within walking distance of the beach. My room was basic but enough, and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't like the odd taste of coffee made with boiled water from the kettle. Breakfast was overcooked, and the egg had a strange aftertaste, like melted plastic or soap that hadn't been rinsed off properly. The coffee served to me was weak and lukewarm. For what I paid, I suppose I can't complain. Parking is an issue, though there's a large bay across the street, where overnight parking costs about £14 per 24 hours.

The freshly cooked breakfast was included in the price, with coffee and pure orange juice, and Stephen was so polite and willing to do anything for you. It capped off a wonderful stay after a stressful day of train cancellations, when I'd tried my best to get back to Durham. I ended up at the Richmond hotel, right on the seafront, with great views from my balcony. The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower spot on and clean. Jonathon, the owner, was very welcoming and a really nice guy. The pints were nice and not watered down. Lots of pubs and restaurants are close by. ABSOLUTE BARGAIN. I'll certainly be back, hopefully in summer. Take care, and maybe I can get that great discount after this outstanding review! 5 stars.

Staff come into the room while you're out and do a good job tidying up, which was really kind of them. The hotel is dog friendly, but you have to take your dogs with you when you go out. They can't be left alone in the room. The owner was very friendly, always greeting us and asking how our day had gone. When we brought takeaway back, he also checked whether we needed plates or cutlery. Room 15 was roomy enough for one child, two adults and two dogs. The room itself was really nice, although I didn't get the best sleep because my dad snores really loudly 😂😭. Breakfast was really tasty. I had a full English without beans and the quality was amazing. The hotel isn't far from everything, and if you're lucky enough to get a front-facing room, you'll probably have a nice view. A brilliant stay, and if my family ever comes back to Weston super mare, hopefully we'll stay here again, maybe in another room so I don't have to be so close to my dad's snoring.

Jonathan's local knowledge made my three-night visit even better. He welcomed me warmly and had lots of suggestions for things to see and do. The Richmond feels like a home from home, with amenities and good places to eat within easy walking distance. Breakfast was spot on each morning, beautifully presented and expertly cooked by Steve, who made sure everything was right. On my last day I met Jonathan's mother and her close friend, and we had a lovely chat about how much good food and service matter. The Richmond clearly gets that right. Warm, welcoming and well located, it's going to be my regular place when I return to Weston. Thanks, Jonathan and Steve. See you again soon!
