The self check-in was so straightforward, with the paperwork and key ready and all the details clearly written down. Our room felt warm and cosy, with plenty of radiators, a good view over the park, and lots of space. The bathroom was large and had a big towel, toiletries and a hairdryer. The iron and ironing board came in handy too. Fresh, comfortable bedding, though I would have liked a slightly bigger bed. We left our pup while we went to a party, and Paul messaged to say everything was fine and to enjoy our evening. That was such a lovely thing to do. Breakfast was great, with pretty much whatever we fancied, and the lady even gave our pup a sausage when he was too excited to eat the night before. She also cleans the rooms and saw us off in the morning. She’s a real asset to the hotel. A cosy, comfortable home-from-home, and we’d happily recommend it. Thanks for everything you do for guests.

We’ve just headed home after our fifth visit, and have already booked our sixth for July. It always feels like a home from home. The rooms are lovely and clean, and Paul, the owner, and the staff are always helpful and around when you need them. Breakfast is cooked to order, with loads of choice. They’re happy to help with anything.

The evening meal was so good, make sure you try it. We had a great stay, and our dog was made welcome too. With the park just across the road, walks are easy to fit in. Our room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely staff and service. We’ll definitely be back and keep recommending it to anyone who’ll listen.

The breakfast was included in the room price and made it very good value. There’s a big menu for evening meals, and I really enjoyed mine. Staff were friendly, and the rooms are large with the usual amenities, including a TV and hot drinks. There’s parking off the road for three cars, though there’s plenty of free parking on the road too. I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.
