Relaxinnz Grand Victorian

We had a lovely big, very clean room with plenty of space for us and our two dogs. Everyone on staff was friendly and made us feel welcome during our two nights over the bank holiday weekend. Breakfast on the second morning was excellent, and the bar has a good range of beers and other drinks. A great dog-friendly hotel in Worthing, highly recommended.

I stayed overnight with my young children in the family room, and it was such a special visit. There was lots of room, everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were cheerful and wonderful about helping us. The food was delicious and the portions generous. We'll definitely come back!

Cat was an impeccable host. She sang Etta James at karaoke, then stepped in with her acoustic guitar when the band cancelled. What a talent. She also arranged a caricaturist for the guests, and was generous about letting us be flexible with breakfast and checkout on New Year's Day. The breakfast was spectacular, and both the meal and entertainment were great despite being rearranged at the last minute. From booking onward, we got friendly, courteous emails confirming dinner and our menu choices, and check-in was easy. The room was spotless, with no noise coming through from the pub. There was a little cigarette smell in the bathroom, but it had gone by the time we returned later that evening. We had a fantastic New Year's Eve from start to finish. It was memorable, and we'll be back regularly. I've already recommended it to friends and family, and my mum is going for lunch today.

The bar has a welcoming feel and is laid out really well, with a good choice of real ales. We ate here while visiting friends in Woryhing, as it was convenient for catching our train back to London. The menu had plenty of variety and didn't feel like the usual chain pub offering. Everyone enjoyed their meals and cleared their plates. Mine was the unusual-sounding Beer and Treacle Gammon, which was amazing, really tasty, and came with perfectly cooked chips and a nice fried egg. We'll eat here again next time we're in this lovely town.
