We were really comfortable in our roomy, clean room at the back of Halfway House. It was wonderfully quiet and had its own little patio. We stayed two nights with our dog, and the team couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Such a dog-friendly place. The pillows were a bit flat, though.

The BBQ ribs the chef suggested were amazing. And the bar staff were friendly, professional, and lovely. Just wanted to say thanks for such a great experience.

The room was spacious, beautifully clean, and easy to reach from the big car park. We also loved the gardens and little lake. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist gave us a wonderful, friendly welcome. Everyone on staff was brilliant through a lovely evening, and breakfast was great too. We'd happily stay again and highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Lovely food, good prices, and a brilliant atmosphere. The owners make you feel so welcome and really do all they can for you. A fantastic pub if you're in the area, definitely worth a visit. 10/10!

I just stopped by for lunch while passing through, and it was a great place to get a meal. They're dog-friendly too. I didn't stay overnight.
