Dean Court Hotel

We came back on a Thursday in late February during half term, this time just to eat in the restaurant and have a drink. Table 9 had a great view of the Minster, which brought back nice memories. The fish and chips were great, and service was friendly and efficient. Recommended. I last stayed at the Dean Court Hotel nearly 20 years ago, when it was a Best Western. I organised a ghost-themed company meeting there for 20 people, and we all loved it.

The meal was fantastic, and the staff really knew the menu. I only stayed one night, but the spacious room, stunning views and top-notch cleanliness made it a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure everything was right, from check-in to a warm goodbye. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The cathedral view from my upgraded room was the highlight, especially waking up to it each morning. The room was spotless, comfortable and well maintained, a lovely place to unwind after being out all day. Staff were friendly, attentive and professional throughout, and everyone I met made an effort to make me feel welcome. Dean Court Hotel is right in the heart of the city, with everything close by on foot. I had a great stay from beginning to end and would happily return.

The manager showed us around the hotel and then walked us to our room, taking time to explain how everything worked. That thoughtful welcome made us feel at home straight away. We’d also been pleasantly surprised with an upgrade. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the Minster. Everyone we met, from reception to the bar and restaurant, was warm, helpful and professional. Dean Court combines comfort, hospitality and a great location. We’d gladly stay again.
