Manor Farm Bed And Breakfast

We were staying on a small working farm, and the location was lovely. On arrival we got a friendly welcome, with tea, coffee and a slice of cake. Adam and Sue were great hosts, and our dogs were made very welcome too. Breakfast had a good range of choices. Highly recommended.

The Yorkshire countryside around here is beautiful, with valleys, hills, lovely sunshine and friendly people. We found the working farm a really relaxing place, and the owners were so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was just what we wanted first thing, with a list of things to choose from. We’ll definitely come back. Like us, you might fall in love with the place. Pay it a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

The room was fine for one night, with a comfortable enough bed, though it was compact, basic and mostly clean. It could do with an update. Sue was lovely and sent useful directions before we arrived. Breakfast was freshly cooked and good. The fruit choice was small, but the fresh coffee and orange juice were nice. It would have helped to have information when we arrived about where breakfast is served and the checkout time.

The bed was huge and really comfortable, and we had a great welcome. Breakfast came in generous portions with a good range of choices. We had an excellent short break at this working farm, set in a beautiful spot for walking and exploring the moors. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys the countryside and comfort.
