Park Inn by Radisson York

The only real disappointment was breakfast. I’m vegetarian, and the hot options were just beans, toast and eggs, with no veggie sausages, hash browns or mushrooms. The chef said it was a month-long trial of a new menu, so it might go back to normal soon. The cold continental selection was decent, but I’d hoped for a hot start to the day. The hotel is in a great spot within easy walking distance of the city centre, and the rooms were clean, tidy and spacious.

Our room on the 6th floor was spacious and very clean, with amazing views over the river and beyond. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is in a great location. Parking is limited, but we had no trouble finding a space. Really nice hotel.

Richard sorted our parking and arranged a lovely room for our joint birthday, thank you! I’d suggest arranging parking early, though if the hotel spaces are full, NCP is about a five-minute walk away. Shops and restaurants are close, the location is brilliant, and the facilities were excellent. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, and the staff did their best to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We had a fantastic time, thanks everyone.

Room 701 had an amazing view, and I’m so glad we booked here. The bed was firm and comfortable, and although the bathroom was small, it was neat and worked well. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk across the river to everything in York. We called ahead to ask about parking and were told to try for a space because some guests might have left after checking out. Luckily, we got one. All the staff were welcoming, and the whole place was spotless and smelled lovely. Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in across the UK.
